Product Safety Awareness Program
The Product Safety Awareness Program is part of a larger PPAI initiative to create confidence in promotional products as an advertising medium at every level.
- Review your PSA status by checking your PPAI transcript at my.ppai.org.
- If you do not know your login, start with your email address.
- You can then reset your password if needed.
- Don't know your CEU Pin? Need a CEU Pin? Additional questions: Certification@ppai.org
- Once you are logged in, click Product Safety Transcript under Education.
- Verify what Product Safety Courses you have already completed.
- Go to Education Opportunities
- Review upcoming opportunities (live & archived webinars).
- Take required PSA courses. Offered complimentary at Education Opportunities
- TAS: Required Product Safety Basics (90 minutes)
- Prop 65 and State Regulation (60 minutes)
- Undue Influence Training (60 minutes)
- Select one additional course from https://onlineeducation.ppai.org/corporate-responsibility. Look for on the certification credit tab.
- Once you have completed all the necessary courses to achieve your PSA status, our system will update overnight. The following day you:
- will receive notice of credit for the course.
- will receive notification of your status and receive the "We Are Product Safety Aware" logos to be used in your marketing materials.
- will be added to the list of Product Safety Aware companies on the PPAI website.
- can make plans to attend the Product Safety Summit and The PPAI Expo in the future.

Product Safety Program Renewal Requirements
Product Safety Aware (PSA) status, it is valid for two years.
- Every two years, your PSA status must be renewed by completing 2 hours of PSA approved elective courses.
- One required course and one elective
- Courses are offered complimentary at onlineeducation.ppai.org and there is no application fee to renew status.
If your company’s PSA Ambassador leaves the company, you may designate a new employee. You have a 30-day window to get a new PSA Ambassador in place, to maintain your company’s PSA status.
Online Renewal Courses
Free PSA on-demand courses can be accessed at any time on our online webinar platform. A login is required to access the webinars. Your user name is the email address you have on file with PPAI. If your password is unknown, and you are unable to reset it – please email Certification@ppai.org
Once logged in, online courses can be found by utilizing the drop-down menus on the right-hand side of your screen. All courses under Search By Topic and then: Corporate Responsibility, Social Responsibility, Environmental Responsibility, Product Responsibility or Product Safety Awareness qualify as PSA approved courses.
After the webinar, make sure to fill out the survey in order to get credit for the course. Once the survey is complete, the course credit will be added to your PPAI transcript.
Your PSA status will be automatically updated, overnight, once you have completed the two hours of product safety education.
