      Corporate Responsibility

      PPAI strives to provide leadership by example to advance sustainability efforts in the promotional products industry. We will engage in carbon monitoring activities and waste diversion techniques and seek other methods of reducing or offsetting our emissions and waste. This policy relates to our events, staff travel, and office operations. We will improve as we learn, measure our progress, and share the lessons we learned with the industry.

    PPAI recognizes the critical importance of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) factors and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in fostering a sustainable and responsible business environment. PPAI is committed to advancing ESG principles and contributing to the achievement of the SDGs.

    Purpose

    PPAI intends to:

    1. Integrate ESG principles and support the SDGs.
    2. Provide guidelines for members to align their practices with ESG standards and contribute to SDG targets.
    3. Foster a culture of responsibility, transparency, and accountability among our members.

    ESG Principles

    PPAI commits to promoting and incorporating the following ESG principles:

    1. Environmental Responsibility
      1. Reduce environmental impact by adopting sustainable practices.
      2. Minimize resource consumption and promote sustainable activities.
      3. Support initiatives to address climate change and biodiversity conversation.

      1. Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the industry.
      2. Encourage fair labor practices, including workplace safety, fair wages, and employee well-being.
      3. Support social impact initiatives.

      1. Encourage high standards of corporate governance among members.
      2. Encourage transparent financial reporting and ethical business conduct.
      3. Foster a culture of accountability and responsibility at all levels.

    Integration Of SDGs

    PPAI acknowledges the significance of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and commits to contributing to their achievement. Members are encouraged to align their business activities and projects with relevant SDGs, considering their impact areas.

    Member Responsibilities

    Members of PPAI are encouraged to:

    1. Integrate ESG considerations into business strategies, decision-making processes and operations.
    2. Engage in continuous education on ESG issues and best practices.
    3. Report on ESG performance and contributions to SDGs in transparent and consistent manner.

    Monitoring and Reporting

    PPAI will regularly assess our efforts and monitor industry adherence to ESG principles. Periodic reports will be published to communicate progress and collective impact of our membership in advancing sustainability goals.

    Communication & Awareness

    PPAI will actively communicate its commitment to ESG principles and the SDGs to members, partners, and the broader community. This includes organizing awareness campaigns, training sessions and providing resources to support members in their sustainability journey.

    Review & Update

    PPAI will periodically review our efforts to ensure relevance and effectiveness with the goal of aligning with the changing landscape of sustainability practices.

    PPAI affirms its dedication to creating a more sustainable future and encourages members to actively contribute to the global sustainability agenda.
